Livin in a small town.....
So I was on facebook the other night and I see people who recieve these "smiles" from their friends and above that they put, "These smiles make my day.." Well you know what makes my day? Driving through Utica, Ky every morning. I've lived in that small town ever since I was in diapers.(Thank you LB for that suggestion)Driving through Utica in the morning is very peaceful to me. You see the town start to wake up...well half of the town is already up by then. You hear the birds chirping, the sun rising, the Thompson's getting all their tractors ready for the day ahead. BUT my favorite place to drive by is JR's Market.,..also called Miriam's. Miriam's is the hang out for most everyone in the morning...mainly older gentlemen ...hence my grandfather and all his friends. Lol. So everytime I pass there a whole bench-ful of elderly men wave at me and my mother. That really makes my day...and sometimes when we have the windows down they shout good morning to Larry's grandaughter. It's just a sight to see...let me tell you. I love living in a town where everyone knows who you are and they know your whole family. Out in the country you don't have those big city lights or loud noise...Us Uticians go to sleep to the sound of crickets in the night. I would never want to live anywhere else but in a small town....

Cause I had a bad day.....
Ok so why does life have to be so difficult? I mean I have good days and bad days and well today was totally a bad day. The house is now lonely because my older brother is now at college, but yesterday we moved him in so the day started out and i was dead tried. First period was IB Biology and it was ok---sort of boring until Mr. Bates cracked a joke about the game Battleship--inside joke between me and jo...lol. Then 2nd period I didnt do anything like usual-realtionships. Third was Advanced Drama and I'm on a crew that I dont like...at all. Then came lunch-usually I'm exctied but today not as much....I wasn't truly happy until 4th period- English! I seriously love english it is my favorite class. One because Mrs Matthews is amazing but secondly most of my friends are in here.....it was just my cup of tea. I love english! = ]

Like Mother Like Daughter....Oh my!
"Marley you sound just like your mother."
I hear this every time I answer the phone. Me and my mom are like the two "annoying" girls in school that always talk and giggle. My mom is seriously my best friend even though we make fun of each other and get on each other's nerves its just a certain type a love that I can't really explain. Back to the whole gigling part- my mom is known for her laugh---it's embarassing actually. I can be in Wal-mart or somewhere and I can hear her laugh a mile away, but that's another thing we have in common. When I laugh, I laugh loud. All of my friends are telling me I'm begining to laugh just like her... oh boy. We love alot of the same things- I guess it's just in my genes but oh well. We love to have movie nights, talk about life and enjoy the outdoors. As much as I try to deny I'm becoming my mother I know it's just the truth coming out...so prepare yourselves! HAHA = ]

My Family....
" A family is like a forest, when you are outside it is dense, when you are inside you see that each tree has it's place." Ghana
Family is the most important thing in my life. Without my family I would be lost in this world the are my foundation.
I am a daughter, a sister, a cousin, and a granddaughter. My parents are crazy but I love them anyways.I think everyone says that but I mean it! I only have one sibling and his name is pain in the butt....uh, I mean Josh.(age-18) Nah- I'm just kidding, Josh is pretty cool but he is getting ready to head off to college this weekend actually. With only four people in my house and being stuck with them everyday you get to see how much we love and care for each other. sometimes at school or where ever and I've had a bad day all I want to do is go home and talk to somebody. I feel like that is where i can be me, myself, and I. = ]
