SO today I was walking to the 700's and there was a couple of girls talking about how they love math. I'm sorry but I despise math. I know it's important and stuff but me and math just don't click---sorry Mr Jacob Merimee. lol
Maybe one of the reasons I hate math is because I have it first period and my brain isn't always functioning. Or because it's only me and Joseph Powers in there. Our class is filled with freshmen and sophomore so that makes me feel stupid...
Well anyways I needed a last idea for a blog so this is it!
***again another cheesy blog***

Trail of Treats
Last night, I went and helped my mother at the annual Trail of Treats. We got there to set up at a little before four and stayed till past 9. WE gave out candy to over 2,500 trick or treaters and when I got home last night I just crashed. Although it was a ton of fun I was glad to be home. I saw many, many costumes such as transformers, frogs, and dead..."things". I swear I had never given out that much candy before in my life. There were some really annoying kids then some really sweet kids. This little girl commented on my hair and said it was very beautiful....needless to say she was my favorite! This was my first experience on trail of treats and it was so much fun I might as well do it again next year, but I will remember to bring more candy!!!!

Hot glue guns don't make friends....
So last night I was finishing up my English poster. I was pretty much gluing on my last picture. as i was flipping the James Dean picture onto my poster, my right index finger slipped into the hot, hot, HOT glue. I shrieked and flung the picture off my finger. The picture landed on my laptop which was playing music nearby. I screamed some more as I ripped off the molded dot of glue that was already hard on my finger. I really didn't know that glue could dry so fast! AS i peeled off the blob of glue I noticed my finger was bright red. It felt as if it was on fire and had a pulse of it's own it was throbbing so hard. I ran and stuff it under the water faucet trying to relieve myself and cool it down. It worked for a bit but the pain came roaring back. I then noticed that a blister was starting to form. Great....So as of today, I have a nasty blister on my finger and the remains of glue on my laptop key, and I will never use a hot glue gun again! OK, I was just kidding, I probably will have to do it again at some point in my life, but I will be extra-extra careful next time!!!!!!!!!

"Some days you're the dog, some days you're the hydrant."

"Some days you're the dog, some days you're the hydrant." - Unknown
I found that quote and I thought it was cute...anyways back to this blog. I needed a blog theme and I was thinking about things that happened recently and could think of nothing except for last night when I let my dogs in and "my" dog, Jezzy, came in and slept in my lap. I was sitting on the couch reading a book, and her being on my lap just put a cherry on the top for my comfort. It was like only me and her were in the world--so peaceful, which is just what I needed for the last day of Fall Break. I think I've always had a dog, as of right now I have three.(Rocky, Chipper and Jezzy) Dogs are the best animal in my opinion- they are always by your side and so sweet. Although getting past the puppy stage is a pain, the end result of having a loyal dog is totally worth it.
***Cheesy blog I know*** : )
Fall Break
Ok so fall break was a huge sigh of relief. It was the perfect time for a break. I was getting so restless and just wanted to slack on my work. So when October 19th rolled around I was ecstatic! Now I didn't go anywhere fancy just stayed home, spent time with the family, hung with friends, and cleaned : ( Why is it on breaks parents spring all this work on you? I'm just sayin....my parents always do that. They think that just because I'm off from school that I'm not doing anything. As that may have been true a few days, the other days were spent on school work. Nasty, nasty schoolwork- I might add. Well anyways after working a bit on school work I got to eat lunch with my great-grandparents-that's always fun! Also I went shopping in Evansville and that's always fun. So Fall break 2009 was fun....and yet it ended oh so very soon.

Carving Pumpkins..... : )

One of my favorite Halloween memories is carving pumpkins with my older brother and my mom. Running through rows and rows of pumpkins with Josh trying to find the biggest and best one there was. Once we found IT we would bring it home and rinse it off. Then we would cut open the top and pull out all the seeds and gooey stuff. That was always my favorite part-digging your hands in and feeling the cool stringy inside! We would wash the seeds, put them on a pan, and then baked them. My brother would always trace the face and mom would always cut it out. We had some weird faces throughout the years with Josh holding the marker ; ) but they would always be cute and everyone would remark on how precious they were. For the last few years we haven't really been getting pumpkins but I will always remember the good, fun, Halloween times.

Just Plain Creepy...
Ok so in the spirit of halloween, I was looking up ghost stories or frightening stories. Well on this one website I found this story and I just got disturbed by it so I thought I would share it with everyone. It's called the Little White Dog.
There was an old woman who had no family still living. Her only friend was a little white dog who went everywhere with her - with one exception. The dog loved the fireplace in winter, and after the old woman went to bed he would sometimes go and lie in front of the warm coals. Usually though, the dog slept at the very edge of the bed on a throw rug. The woman wouldn't allow the dog on the bed with her, but if she became frightened or had a nightmare, she would put her hand down to the little white dog and he would lick it reassuringly. One night the woman was reading her newspaper just before going to sleep. She shivered and pulled the comforter up around her as she read that a mental patient had wandered off from a nearby hospital. No one knew if the patient was dangerous of not; he was a suspect in the murders of several women who had lived alone. The woman turned out the lights and tried to sleep, but she was frightened, and tossed and turned fitfully. Finally, she reached down to where the little white dog slept. Sure enough, a warm, wet tongue began to lick her hand. The woman felt reassured and safe, and left her hand dangling off the bed as she turned and settled in comfortably. She opened her eyes for a moment and looked through the open door into the living room. There in front of the fireplace, sat her little white dog, gazing at the coals and wagging his tail. Down beside the bed, something was still licking her hand.
